SBU has extended an invitation to YMC to join them for their Labor Day (Sep 4-6) Beach Blast at Yeonpo Beach (N36.6942 E126.2105). This location is about 35 miles north of Daecheon Beach. Our annual Chase The Sun side is scheduled during the same period. The first night, Sat, 4 Sep, is on the east coast at Samchok beach, then riding to the west coast on Sun, 5 Sep.

I would like y'all to consider moving our west coast destination from Daecheon beach to Yeonpo beach and linking up with SBU for Sunday evening. SBU has some great guys in their club and we have enjoyed many events together in the past. At our YMC 30th Anniversary event, SBU sent a delegation and presented YMC with a commemorative plaque.

I wanted to answer, both B and C...but there was no option for it! Les is leading that day so I can twist his arm to go to Yeonpo. We just have to tweak the route a hair and I think it is a great idea. I will look into it if it is agreed, just need to find a hotel unless they can provide us a list / location. I didn't make any calls yet so we are w/o obligations as of yet.

YEONPO HERE WE COME!!! SBU is cool and we've been there done that, forget the t-shirt, we had a great time. Only two draw backs: sunset is on the other side of little penn and not as much family stuff. But I say Yeonpo.

I forgot to add the prices:

Rooms: 40,000 won, same as we expected at Daechon, pay when you arrive

Food and drinks: $30 per rider/couple, must be turned in by 20 Aug. Since we have some people already involved in the exercise, just tell if you plan to go and I will cover your cost...but then you better show up and repay me

And NO, Les and Pink do not count as a couple

I'm riding alone so I'm up for whatever the club wants as long as Billy is paying...lol

Everyone who has voted/commented sas supported changing our West Coast stop to the SBU Beach Blast or was indifferent. Since we are past the desired sign-up date and our next meeting is not until 1 Sep, I am gonna make an executive decision on this one: we are headed to the SBU Beach Blast.

Welcome back to Korea...hope your trip was good! I posted that Tuyoshi would be on the trip so hopefully he and his wife were included for the SBU portion. If not, I am sure something can be worked out. I am still working that weekend so not going as of now.
