Importing to U.S.
Returning a motorcycles to the US is easy, if that's were it came from.

Importing Local Motorcycles to the U.S.
This is among things generally considered as impossible. At the present time, there are no models of Korean vehicles as sold in Korea that meet or exceed mandatory regulatory safety specifications and requirements needed to operate on U.S. roads and highways. Obtaining such modifications can be extremely expensive -- potentially exceeding the base value of the vehicle.

There are non-Korean motorcycles including various European makes that are legal to import without significant modifications. Before purchasing any such motorcycles, be sure to absolutely determine whether it will meet all the requirements.

Motorcycles purchased in the U.S. and subsequently shipped to Korea are generally acceptable for return shipment. This is technically not the same thing as importing since the motorcycles has already been certified and processed into the U.S.. How ever, it is important to consider any aftermarket modifications that may bring such a vehicles out of U.S. safety specifications such as steering wheel knobs, non-standard mandatory lighting (colors, placement, etc.) and certain mechanical modifications.
